How Precision Data was born
Precision Data was born from the need its founder, Julio Barbour, saw to support Life Science innovation with a resource that was underused until then: the health data collected every day in the sector's transactional systems — real-world data.
After working at three large healthcare data analytics companies, Julio realized how hard it was to work with this kind of data in conventional corporate settings. In March 2022 he left his last company to dedicate himself exclusively to conceiving, materializing and building PD.
Today we are OMOP pioneers in Latin America, award winners at the OHDSI Global Symposium, with our own platform and a federated network of Data Partners.
